Logo Design

First round

I started to sketch my initial ideas based on the outcome of the research regarding the Meddle logo. In this round, I tried to be creative with the elements of the current logo to offer a completely new design.

Feedback on the first ideas:

In my presentation session when I shared my sketches with the client, he stated that they want to keep the current logo as is and are not willing to change it! Based on the result of the research, I knew there is room for improving the experience of the new users by redesigning the app's logo. I believed a more relevant logo could make a good first impression which ultimately would result in an easy understanding of the app's concept.

So, I continued with asking Peter; what is the reason he doesn't want to change the logo! He responded; the wheel shaped element in the logo means if you help your friend, they will help you someday, like Karma theory.

Second round (final)

Now that I had learned the logic behind the logo and the client's mindset, this time I kept the most important element of the design (Wheel) and started to explore the new ideas.

Final result:

In our next presentation, I presented the new sketches. Peter was both surprised that I didn't give up, and also so happy with the final Logo. They are currently using my design, with minor changes in color, as their primary logo.
